Our company started in the humble confines of a garage in Oakland, CA in 1990. Today we have a national infrastructure with headquarters in North Carolina and a customer list that reads like a who’s who of life science research facilities from around the world.

Our mission was to create a different kind of life science supplier in three critical areas:

  • Better Technical Support & Service-We believed that there was room in the market for a strong and responsive technical company that was committed not only to outstanding operational performance but committed technical support
  • Improved Strategic Sourcing- We search the world for leading edge technology to help life scientists in their discovery efforts. Our goal was to combine a consultative sales approach with strong and effective marketing, to ensure that our customers are aware of new products as they become available
  • Sensible Pricing Structure –Variable discounts off of inflated prices seemed like a confusing way to price things. PHENIX created our “no worries” pricing policy, which guarantees that we will be in the lowest third of available real price- even at our list price. This ensures that you will always get a fair deal, even if you don’t have time to compare prices.
